Ciklin Lubitz was originally formed in 1985 by the merger of three existing, boutique law firms:
- Boose Ciklin Martens Lubitz (Land use, litigation and real estate law)
- Casey & McBane (Corporate law tax and construction litigation)
- O’Connell and O’Connell (Real estate, estate planning, probate and guardianship)
The firm’s emphasis on collaborative client relationships is supported by long-term stability among attorneys, paralegals, and other members of the professional team. Many of the Ciklin Lubitz employees have been with the firm for more than 15 years, with several serving since the firm’s inception.
The firm believes in establishing long term partnerships with clients by striving to prevent legal problems before they occur, negotiating solutions wherever possible, creating realistic and reliable legal budgets, and providing early case evaluations so clients can make informed decisions. At all points in the firm’s client relationship the firm strives to provide the best legal assistance possible at the lowest possible cost.
Building on this underlying philosophy, Ciklin Lubitz draws on the combined strengths of its professionals to provide a balanced approach to solving legal problems.
The firm’s practice areas include real estate, construction law, land use, zoning, tax, business law, commercial litigation, employment law, securities litigation, estate planning, probate, family law, and appeals.
Even as the roster of clients has grown to include a number of developers, municipalities, financial service organizations, securities dealers, corporations and families, members of the firm remain sensitive to the needs of the individual client.
All legal work is approached with a respectful attitude, regardless of the size or scope of a client’s situation. It is the firm’s professional philosophy that every client relationship must be firmly rooted in the principles of professional expertise and mutual respect.
