Doug Johnson is an associate in the Construction Litigation practice group. He primarily represents developers, general contractors, and subcontractors in a wide variety of complex construction defect litigation.
Before joining the firm, Mr. Johnson worked as an insurance defense attorney, where he undertook a number of matters involving various legal issues and acquired extensive litigation experience. He has handled cases involving construction defects, insurance coverage disputes, and personal injury.
During college, Mr. Johnson worked for a government relations specialist in Tallahassee studying and monitoring proposed bills throughout the legislative process.

Mr. Johnson enjoys playing golf and spending time with his wife and their West Highland White Terrier. A South Florida native, he is an avid fan of the Florida State Seminoles, Miami’s Pro Sports Teams, the United States National Soccer Team, and Arsenal FC.
